Inspect X is getting a little greener with the addition of a 10KW Solar System. Through planning and research started in July of 2010 it wasn’t until April 2011 before a 10KW rooftop solar system was fully approved and operational. Running off our own power would have been an ideal situation, however, with the government incentives it made more sense to collect the energy and send it to the power grid. From a financial standpoint, the money made from the panels will offset approximately 77% of the current hydro usage.
